For the second year, Germains Seed Technology is proud to sponsor the California Rodeo Salinas. California’s agriculture community looks forward to this annual event year after year where over 700 cowboys and cowgirls from across the nation come to compete for almost $400,000 in money and prizes. This annual event draws over 50,000 fans to the Salinas Sports Complex where spectators enjoy horse races, special performances, barrel racing, mutton busting and several other crowd-pleasing forms of entertainment.

California Rodeo Salinas Contributions to Our Community
The California Rodeo Salinas is undoubtedly filled with loads of entertainment, but more importantly, Germains sponsors this event for its primary cause; to support organizations that contribute back to the Salinas community. The Rodeo not only has a significant economic impact on local businesses, it significantly contributes to non-profit organizations that are vital to the community. Programs include the Wrangler National Patriot Program that raises funds for Wound Warriors and families of fallen soldiers. Or other ag-related organizations such as Ag Against Hunger who harvests leftover produce from fields that have already been harvested for commercial sales. Money spent at select food booths, sponsorships, parking and other events coordinated by California Rodeo Inc. generates over $400,000 that is donated back to local non-profits.
