Biologicals such as T-22 and Actinovate have evolved from field applications to organic seed treatments that provide vegetable crops the first line of defense from seed-borne diseases such as Pythium, Rhizoctonia, and Fusarium. In addition to crop protection, countries such as Mexico have instated phytosanitary regulations that require vegetable seeds be treated with biological treatments such as T-22 and Actinovate prior to entering the country.
