Key Account Manager
Germains Seed Technology, North America, welcomes Handell Larco as Key Account Manager. Handell brings over 15 years of experience working with vegetable and berry industries throughout California, Arizona, and the Pacific North West. He holds an MSc in Horticulture and an MBA from Oregon State University. While at Driscoll’s, Handell was involved with the supply and commercialization of new profitable berry cultivars. In addition, he expanded the vegetable transplant market share in CA and AZ and developed a watermelon and tomato grafting program for Growers Transplanting Inc.
“Handell has great experience in the agriculture industry: he worked for several companies in California as business development and sales accounts – Driscoll’s – Growers Transplant and just recently, Pairwise,” said Kevin Walsh, Head of Commercial, North America. “I am confident that Handell’s years of technical field experience, business development, and strategic planning will be a tremendous value to our customers and growers”.
In his previous position at Pairwise, Handell was involved in product development, line selection, and commercialization of the mustard leafy greens program. Handell’s crop knowledge is as diverse as his technical field experiences. As Key Account Manager, Handell will act as a customer liaison within Germains by seeking opportunities to add value for the customer and company through service, field trial programs, and strategic development to help drive new product innovation.
