The 500 Matt series is part of Germains polyselect® seed polymers range. When applied to the seed the Matt Series provides a smooth, high quality finish which in combination with bright colours, allows the seed to stand out from others.

Alongside dust reduction, even distribution of agrochemicals and the other key benefits of using one of Germains seed polymer, the 500 Series will provide a unique finish to the seed, whether that is Matt, Shine or Sparkle.
polyselect® Seed Polymers – Red Matt Finish
For horticulture and field crops the 500 Series is effective at coating seeds that have a naturally dark colour. For example Black Sunflower, a dark coloured seed, can be seen in the product portfolio to have an even coverage when coated in Germains polyselect® 500 Matt Series.
polyselect® Seed Polymers – Yellow Matt Finish
If a considerable amount of treatment is used on the seed, then another series from Germains product list would be recommended. As the formulation used in the 500 series has a low to medium binding capacity this means larger amounts of treatment cannot be secured onto the seed.
This series is available in a range of colours, as well as an uncoloured neutral version.

All of Germains polyselect® seed polymers have been tested and applied with a variety of coating equipment to ensure they are compatible. However by contacting a Germains’ representative, samples of any polymer can be sent if you require testing on your own equipment.
