Germainiacs support local charity NANSA – Norfolk and Norwich Scope Association

On the 27th January 2013, Germainiacs, a team of eight Germains employees tackled the 10 mile Tough Guy extreme endurance course to raise money for a local charity; Norfolk and Norwich Scope Association (NANSA).

The Germainiacs had to wade through ice cold waters, leapfrog flames, conquer underground interrogation pits and drag themselves through muddy trails. All of this was in order to raise as much money as possible for NANSA.

In total the team were able to raise £1502 through generous donations from family, friends, fellow colleagues and the Germains charity matching scheme.

Germains were proud to visit the NANSA site in Norwich to present the cheque and meet some of the individuals that the money will go to help.  All of the money raised will go towards the valuable and diverse services that the charity offer for people of all ages with disabilities within the Norfolk area.

Jessica Rice, NANSA Operations & Marketing Manager, said: “We are delighted to have received such a generous donation and have great admiration for those who undertook such a brave challenge for us. Every penny will go a long way in supporting our services and we’re truly grateful.”
