Small plot trials

Xbeet® enrich100 demonstrated an average increased in yield of 1.5% over the control sample (graph 1). Germains performed small plot trials over four years, with six replications of the treatment across six trial sites.

Strip trials

The strip trials studied the performance of Xbeet® enrich100 in large replicated strips across the field. This helped measure results in variable field conditions. The trials achieved a 4.4% increase in yield (graph 2) under conditions that were as close to normal farming practices as possible.

Trial design:Pellets are planted with a commercial drill, fields are managed using standard agronomic practice and roots are harvested with a commercial six-row harvester.
