Seed Polymers | polyselect® 500 Sparkle Series
Germains’ polyselect® seed polymers offer a flexible seed treatment that caters to our customer’s specific needs. Our 145 years of experience in the seed industry has enabled us to develop industry leading seed treatments that are a bespoke solution for customers who wish to treat their seed in house.

The 500 Sparkle Series is designed to provide a full coverage coating for horticulture and field crop seeds. Compared to the 300 series, the 500 series has a high opacity that makes it effective for coating dark seeds, such as black sunflower, onion and oil seed rape. All of Germains polyselect® seed polymers have been tested and applied with a variety of coating equipment to ensure they are compatible.

Seed Polymer Finish Options | polyselect® 500 Series
There are three finishes available in the polyselect® 500 series; Sparkle, Shine and Matt. The following provides more information about the advantages of the 500 Sparkle series.
The 500 Sparkle series is a seed polymer that can be used to provide a high quality cosmetic finish to the seed. The clear metallic finish provided by the sparkle series means that the seed is seen to be less luminous than the Matt or Shine finishes. The 500 Sparkle series is not design to bind a large amount of treatments. If binding is required, then we suggest customers consider an alternative seed polymer, such as the 300 or 100 series.
The polyselect™ 500 Sparkle is available in a range of standard colours as well as an uncoloured neutral version.
