Germains to attend 78th IIRB Congress
Germains Seed Technology is preparing to attend the 78th International Institute of Sugar Beet Research Congress (IIRB) which will take place from the 21st – 23rd June at the Wallonia Conference Centre in Mons, Belgium. The congress will be held in collaboration with the Belgian research institute IRBAB and will mark the 90th anniversary of both IIRB and IRBAB.
The congress this year titled “Growing sugar beet for the future” will see an international audience representing research institutions, sugar beet grower associations, breeding companies, seed treatment specialists, and key stakeholders from the industry.
As regular supporters of this event, Germains will be presenting in the poster programme with papers from Lead scientist Jordan Long from the UK R&D facilities covering the role of seed technologies in sugar beet growing, past, present and future.
Key members of the Germains commercial and R&D sugar beet team will also be available at the congress and look forward to meeting delegates from across the world.
