Before joining Germains I spent six years at AB Agri which is part of Associated British Foods plc, in general management, global strategy, and business development roles. I also have significant experience in international strategy consulting, covering a variety of industries including shipping, packaging, consumer goods and aid agencies. I am delighted to be a part of this agile, innovative, and customer-centric business, which has flexibility and quality at its heart. I look forward to getting to know Germains’ customers, suppliers and partners much better over the coming months and years.
European Business Director
As Business Unit Director of Germains’ European division, I am responsible for leading our sugar beet and horticulture teams based across the UK, Netherlands and Spain, covering Research and Development, Operations, Sales and Supply Chain. I bring experience from pharmaceutical, agricultural and FMCG industries, and have worked internationally at a senior level at Associated British Foods plc. with a focus on strategy, procurement and supply chain.
It’s a really exciting time to be working in the seed treatment world, particularly given the constant changes in this complex and growing industry. As a team, we are constantly looking at ways to proactively provide innovative products & services to drive maximum value to our customers – inherently, to provide solutions to their issues – whilst maintaining quality and service as our watchwords.
North America Business Director
As Business Director of Germains’ North American business, I am responsible for our horticulture operation in California and our sugar beet operation in North Dakota. I have held a variety of roles in the 20+ years I have been with Germains, and I can truly say that there has never been a more exciting time to work here.
The clarity of our mission, vision and values are aligned to support the entire organization providing a framework that allows us to realize our potential. My teams are dedicated and passionate about providing excellence in quality, service and creating solutions that provide our customers the maximum value possible.
Building on its successful history of being a leader in seed treatments, Germains continues to seek out innovative ways to add value for the seed producers and growers it works with. I see the role of the Finance function at Germains as facilitating that continued growth. As Finance Director, I am privileged to help lead the strategic direction of the business, ensuring resources are best allocated to maximise the growth opportunities as they arise.
I previously held a variety of senior roles within Associated British Foods plc, and before that at General Motors, working across various countries. I bring a breadth of experience from across multiple industries (including agriculture, food production, consumer goods and automotive), having worked in areas of strategy development, mergers & acquisitions, commercial support and financial planning, amongst others.
